Whether or not they will be useful to you is really up to you, but at the price (FREE!) they are definitely worth a try.

Yet another “amp simulator”, but a fairly decent one. Simple controls (just like a real amp) and… it’s FREE! Useful for more than just guitar as well (vocals, crushing some drums, etc). A must have, in my book.

Drumcore Free is a “light” version of the full Drumcore product. It can be used as a “groove player” or as a triggered drum sampler. To download this freebie, you must register for a user account at www.fxpansion.com, then once logged in, go to Support->Account, and it should be available there for you to download (as well as their freebie synth, Orca).
A one trick pony, and kind of silly, but it may be useful in some instances, and heck; IT’S FREE!

A free sampler that does a great job playing soundfonts and other formats. I consider this a “must-have” freebie, though it doesn’t appear to be working very well in PT8.

The Successor to the Triangle I. Another great choice if you need a mono synth.
